Tours of Sky Barn Apiaries

The bees of Sky Barn Apiaries are active with ongoing seasons of harvesting pollen and nectar from flowering plants. The spring build-up, swarming, and winter preparations are also primary activities that are intriguing to witness.

Apiary tours are individualized for the seasons and personal interests

I’m currently scheduling appointments to visit the apiaries, workshop and the honey room of our side-line honey operation.

According to many beekeepers, a day with the bees is always a good day. Join us to visit the hives and “honey bee pasture” to see honey plants in bloom while the bees work. Apiary tours are suited for people with an interest in honeybees, who are managing pollinator protection plantings, or are involved in the practice of beekeeping.

Please let me know if you or your group would enjoy an apiary tour. Observe our bees in the apiary with a variety of hive types including Langstroth, Warre and Kenyan top-bar hives, an observation hive and nucleus colonies.

Please contact me to arrange a tour.
